FSD’s bolt on traction bar frame mounts are the easiest way to install a set of traction bars on your truck. These will bolt onto to your 3” frame seamlessly giving you a way to attach a traction bar with a firm grip. Our mounts ensure zero movement under load & are built with the strongest of materials right here at our shop in Bangor, PA. Light drilling is required, see the installation instructions below.

Fitment: 

  • Fits 3” Wide boxed Frames
  • 2 5/8” Inside Mounting Width for 2 5/8” Heim Joints
  • 3/4” Traction Bar Mounting Bolts 

For traction bars with a 2 5/8” mounting width & a 3/4” bolt hole.

What’s Included ? 

  • (2) 3” Frame Mounts 
  • (10) 3/8” x 1” Flange Bolts
  • (10) 3/8” - 16 Threaded Inserts
  • (2) Grade 8 3/4”-10 x 5” Long Bolts 
  • (2) Grade 8 3/4”-10 Nylon Lock Nuts 
  • (4) Grade 8 3/4” Washers
  • (2) 304 Stainless Steel Overlays

Frame Mount Installation:

  • Hold the frame mount up where you would like to mount it.
  • Mark & drill the top 3 holes using a 17/32nd Drill bit (0.531”)
  • Install the (3) 3/8” -16 Nutserts.
  • Bolt the bracket to the frame using the (3) 3/8" Bolts.
  • Make sure that there are no gaps between the bracket & frame.
  • Mark & drill the bottom 2 holes using a pilot bit.
  • Remove the top 3 bolts.
  • Remove the bracket 
  • Drill the 2 bottom holes using a 17/32nd Drill bit (0.531”).
  • Install both bottom threaded inserts using a threaded insert tool.
  • Reinstall bracket loosely
  •  Evenly tighten all 5 bolts using red high strength lock tight.
  • Repeat on the other side.
