Valair NMU70G56 Solid Flywheel Conversion Clutch Kit – G56 5.9L & 6.7L Cummins

The Valair NMU70G56 Solid Flywheel Conversion Clutch Kit is designed for Dodge Ram trucks equipped with the G56 manual transmission and 5.9L or 6.7L Cummins diesel engines. This kit converts the factory dual-mass flywheel to a solid flywheel setup, improving long-term reliability and durability for daily-driven trucks.

Rated at 350HP and 700 ft-lbs of torque, this clutch is ideal for stock or lightly used trucks that need a dependable replacement without sacrificing drivability. The solid flywheel design eliminates common failure points associated with the factory dual-mass setup while maintaining a factory-like feel.

This complete kit includes everything needed for installation, making it a straightforward and reliable upgrade for stock applications.

Key Features:

Upgrade Options:

NMU70G56-01 – HD Organic Single Disc (450HP / 900 ft-lbs)
A heavy-duty organic single disc option designed for increased torque capacity while maintaining smooth engagement and excellent street manners. Ideal for daily-driven trucks that see towing or mild performance use.

NMU70G56-06 – Ceramic/Kevlar Single Disc (500HP / 1000 ft-lbs)
Built for higher power applications, this ceramic/kevlar setup offers increased holding power with improved engagement compared to full ceramic clutches. Best suited for performance-oriented street trucks.

Note: A 500-mile stop-and-go break-in period is required for upgraded clutch options. Gear rollover noise is also expected with these configurations.
